NHC, Post-Tropical Cyclone Trudy Advisory 27, Oct 19

Note

At 8 PM MST Monday, October 19, which was 11 PM EDT, NHC said Trudy had become a post-tropical remnant low near 19.5 North, 108.0 West, about 160 miles west-southwest of Cabo Corrientes, drifting north at 2 mph. No coastal watches or warnings are in effect, and NHC lists no hazards affecting land. Mexico dropped the last warnings on Sunday afternoon with Advisory 22.

Advisory 27 was NHC's last public advisory on the system. The remnant low is expected to move slowly west-northwest over the next day or so until it dissipates, and further information comes only in the National Weather Service High Seas Forecasts.

The storm is over. What it leaves now is open water and a low that is running down.

Why it matters

A storm that reached hurricane strength off Mexico has ended without a warning left standing. NHC lists no hazards affecting land, and further notices on the remnant low come only in the High Seas Forecasts.
