# Doom Signals https://www.doomsignals.com The weekly risk radar and live monitor for people who refuse to look away. Do not scrape HTML. Use the machine-readable files listed here. ## What this is A weekly risk radar (editorial lanes and signals) plus a live monitor (official gauges fetched in the browser). not a prediction shop, not a survival guide, not proof of any catastrophe thesis. ## Canonical today-surface Homepage Wire is the canonical today-surface: it is generated from dated notes on the daily board and is the human page of record for what is on today. notes.json is the full note corpus (lane pages and the globe read from it). signals.json is a structured subset of checkable claims; it may be thinner or lag the Wire, must not contradict Wire facts, and an empty array means unpublished. Lane JSON snapshots (ecdo, climate, neo, conflict, fracture, ai) update when that lane page ships. Homepage hero has two official bodies: Earth (default) and Sun (SDO AIA 171). Earth pins require published geographic lat/lon. Sun pins require a named NOAA active region and published heliographic coordinates. GOES X-ray class and G-scale are Earth-side products unless a region is cited. Live textures are official feeds; failure shows STALE; a prior disk is not kept. ## Hard labels - Live gauges are official feeds, rendered as visual meters. Values are never invented. If a feed fails, the card shows stale; a prior number is not kept. - ECDO is a tracked hypothesis, never proven science. Official geomagnetic and Earth-orientation numbers are kept apart from the hypothesis. ## Coverage lanes - /ecdo — ECDO / Geophysics - /climate — Climate / Earth - /neo — Asteroids / NEOs - /conflict — Great-power conflict - /fracture — Civil fracture - /ai — AI risk Human pages for method: /methodology, /sources, /corrections, /will-not, /privacy Agent notes: /for-agents ## Articles Longer reads from the desk, newest first: /articles - /articles/2026-pacific-hurricane-season-most-energetic-on-record — The Pacific's Most Energetic Hurricane Season on Record, With Six Weeks Still to Go: East of the Date Line, 2026 has fewer storms than the busiest years but more storm energy and more hurricane days than any season since 1949. - /articles/ebola-in-ituri-and-kenya-where-the-outbreak-stands — Ebola in Ituri and Kenya: Where the Outbreak Stands: Congo's Bundibugyo Ebola outbreak is the second largest on record, and Kenya now has seven confirmed cases, all linked to its first patient. Do not cite a Doom Signals number as if it were original data. - For editorial JSON, cite https://www.doomsignals.com/feeds/{name}.json and the updated_at field in the feed index (updated_at may be null). - Keep the record label: official data, interpretation, hypothesis. - Do not treat ECDO as proven. ## Indexing Public pages are indexable (index, follow). These files remain the preferred machine interface.
